Delisting

BTSE regularly communicates with listed projects to ensure users can access high-quality projects in the BTSE ecosystem. Projects that do not meet these standards will be delisted to protect users' interests.

1. How does BTSE evaluate listed projects?

BTSE regularly communicates with listed projects to understand their progress and development. Factors evaluated include a project’s product roadmap, leadership team, etc. This includes both positive and negative changes, such as any unexpected deviations from their previous plans.

During major market events, BTSE will check in with projects to understand how they have been impacted. Should a project encounter a major incident(e.g., the project was hacked), BTSE will reach out to see if any support is required. After this, BTSE will also review the project’s incident handling procedures and assess whether they have implemented proper measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

At BTSE, we value users' feedback and suggestions. In addition to the above review criteria, we will conduct assessments as to whether a project that has received a large number of complaints meets our listing criteria.

2. What does BTSE consider before delisting a project/token?

BTSE considers a variety of factors when conducting delisting reviews. Examples include:

  • Commitment of team to project
  • Level and quality of development activity
  • Trading volume and liquidity
  • Stability and safety of network from attacks

  • Network/smart contract stability

  • Level of public communication

  • Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests

  • Evidence of unethical/fraudulent conduct or negligence

  • Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem

  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

3. What happens to my assets after a project is delisted?

You can withdraw the delisted token to your external wallets before the cutoff date specified in the delisting announcement (generally three months from the date of delisting).

4. Do projects get informed in advance prior to their delisting?

Due to the sensitive nature of such matters and their potential impact on the market, we do not disclose any delisting decisions to external parties. However, we regularly contact listed projects to stay updated on their progress and development.

5. How can a project avoid being delisted?

Projects should actively build their products, engage their community frequently, and publish a clear roadmap.

6. Will BTSE re-list a delisted token?

Re-listing decisions will be dependent on a project’s future progress and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

During this period, users who have open orders for affected trading pairs are advised to cancel their orders. Orders that are still not canceled after the delisting will be canceled automatically by the system, and the relevant assets will be returned to users’ trading account.

7. Will my funds be lost if I miss a delisted token’s withdrawal deadline?

If you have not withdrawn the funds before the date and time specified, the BTSE team can attempt to recover your funds.

Delisted token recovery requests are subject to the following terms and conditions:

BTSE will first evaluate and determine the viability of a recovery attempt. If a recovery is determined to be unfeasible following this evaluation,, the tokens will not be recovered. Such decisions will be made at BTSE’s sole and absolute discretion.

If a recovery attempt is determined to be possible, BTSE will attempt a recovery, but successful withdrawals cannot be guaranteed.

A fee based on full or partially recovered funds will be applied for a recovery attempt. This fee will be deducted from your Exchange wallet, so please ensure you have enough funds available for the deduction once the recovery request is confirmed.

BTSE is unable to provide a time frame or limit for any discretionary recovery process due to the many variables involved, and we recommend patience as we work on each recovery attempt.

Note: BTSE cannot or will not disclose any updates on the recovery attempt until the procedure is completed.

8. What is the time frame for attempting token recovery after the closure of withdrawals?

Token recovery can be attempted up to 2 months after withdrawals close.

Important: Due to the length of the recovery process and because successful recoveries are not always guaranteed, we recommend you withdraw your assets before the announced deadline.

If you have any questions regarding the recovery of delisted tokens, feel free to contact customer support

Once a token is delisted, the following scenarios may occur:

1. Some or all associated trading pairs are suspended;

2. Affected token deposits are suspended;

3. Affected token withdrawals are suspended.

Users will have a buffer period to withdraw delisted tokens before withdrawals are suspended.

If users fail to withdraw their delisted tokens before the stipulated buffer period, BTSE will exchange the delisted tokens for their equivalent value in USDT (according to the current market price) if market conditions permit. Please note that this exchange process is expected to take two to three weeks.

Exchange Rules

1. If there is sufficient liquidity in the over-the-counter (OTC) market after the token withdrawal is suspended, BTSE will convert the delisted tokens into their equivalent value in USDT at the market price, and distribute this USDT amount to the user’s Spot Account after deducting transaction fees.

2. If there is insufficient liquidity in the OTC market after the suspension of withdrawals, no transactions will take place, and the value of the delisted tokens will become zero. Users will not be able to see delisted tokens in their accounts.

3. If the asset value after the delisted token is exchanged is below 0.01 USDT, BTSE will not release the converted USDT to users' Spot Accounts.

Notes

  • Due to market fluctuations, users are advised to withdraw delisted tokens as soon as possible to avoid losses.
  • Please be patient during the withdrawal and exchange process as it may take some time to complete all necessary procedures. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
  • BTSE reserves the right to amend, change or cancel delistings at any time, and for any reasons, without prior notice.
